We serve a God who is Faithful every day. Let’s not forget to give Him praise. I was scrolling through a friend’s post on Thursday and she titled it Thankful Thursday. It was a great reminder that regardless of what is going on around us, we should give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
I woke up Thursday morning with so much joy in my heart that I just started praising God in my bed. I turned on the news and the pandemic is still going on, but this doesn’t mean that we stop praising.
Our praise is not based on our circumstances. I’m going to repeat it again. Our praise is not based on our circumstances. We give PRAISE because God is Great (Psalm 40:16)! He is Faithful! He is Worthy!
Psalm 40:16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, “The Lord is great!”
There were so many battles won in the Holy Bible, while men and women praised God. In 2 Chronicles 20 Jehoshaphat Defeats Moab and Ammon, God’s mighty power is once again shown as He helped those who called upon His name and gave Him praise. It is written in 2 Chronicles 20:21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:
“Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.”
PRAISE occurred.
The verse continues at 2 Chronicles 20:22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
God is Worthy to be praised! There is power in giving praise! God will help us too.
As we’re nearing the end of Lent, and will go into Holy week, we all have so much to be thankful for and to give God praise for – Easter. The time we will celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ going to the cross for every sinner. He laid down His life for us so that we may be saved. Salvation is a Free gift from God. I thank God for it! You don’t have to wait until you fix yourself up to come to Jesus. He will take you just as you are, please do not let anyone tell you anything different. Come Now. None of us have done anything to deserve it, but God is so loving and merciful towards us. I love Him!

I Surrender 2 Jesus 
A very timely post Ayesha. Praise Him always. He inhabits our prayers and praise. We need to find our AWE again. For me, personally, I have become compalcent. I needed to read this today to get the fire back under my behind and get on my knees and sing praises to Him.
