The Bible declares in Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23, that everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard; and the wages or payment for our sins is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Although we all deserve death-eternal damnation and separation from God, God promises that we can have eternal life with Him when we accept His gift for salvation, so we don’t have to suffer or pay for our sins. As the Bible says in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God wants to give you a rich and satisfying life! But you can only receive this life through His Son. Salvation occurs when we receive Jesus Christ (God’s gift-His only Son) as our Lord and Savior. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. – Acts 4:12
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me…”
Jesus has done all the work for us at the cross. There is nothing that you have to do to be saved other than believe it in your heart and confess that Jesus is Lord. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
