John 14: 16-17 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever — the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 16:7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
Maundy Thursday (also recognized as Holy Thursday during this Holy Week) was celebrated on Thursday by so many Christians remembering the Last Supper. This is where the Lord knew the hour for Him to go to the cross for all sinners was drawing near. He told His disciplines that He would be going back to the Father and He would prepare a place for them (John 14:2). He also promised to send an Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who will teach followers of Jesus Christ all things and remind them of everything He has spoken (John 14:26).
The Father sent His Spirit (John 15:26), the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, to live in believers. He is also called our Advocate and Comforter in the Holy Bible. From speaking to believers today, some do not really know the Holy Spirit. Whether it is due to lack of knowledge, or lack awareness of His presence in their lives, I’m here as a living witness to remind you of Him.
The Holy Spirit is the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. Imagine the power of God’s Spirit, raising our Savior from the dead. That same Power lives in every believer. It may be hard for some to believe, but it is scripturally true (Romans 8:11). He is the one who helps us to live a righteous life and to do the Will of God. There would be no way (referring to today’s time, to accomplish the works that have been done by regular people) that believers could live out or complete the Will of God without the help of the Holy Spirt. This is why Jesus told His disciplines to wait until they had received the gift His Father had promised (Acts 1:4) them before leaving Jerusalem to share the good news. Jesus knew the taxing work they would have to endure after He was taken up into heaven, and that they needed a helper, the Holy Spirit, to complete it. The Holy Bible tells us to Live by the Spirit, not by the flesh, and not to grieve the Spirit. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14).
Have you ever been in a position where you were about to commit an act that may not have been the right choice, but right before doing it, an urge from within said you shouldn’t proceed…I know I have and this is the job of the Holy Spirit. To guide us in truth. Please do not ignore Him. We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. This does not mean we cannot call on the name of Jesus! Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him (John 14:10), and they both work together with the Holy Spirit. Jesus lives and because He lives all who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior and follows Him shall also live even after this life. What a glorious hope!
As Easter Sunday approaches, with so many believers across the world preparing to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, let us give thanks to God for Him leaving us a helper. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and His Holy Spirit lives in believers, helping us to do the Will of God on earth.
We are not alone. Praise God! Through all the troubles that may come on earth — Rejoice, Praise, and give Thanks to GOD for providing all that we need in this life (2 Peter 1:3). Our True Provider and Help in Times of Need.
Thankful for Good Friday Everyone!
Love you all in Christ,
Ayesha L. Shoulders

Wonderful words of wisdom. Jesus left the Holy Spirit for believers and you can not receive it unless you believe in the Holy Trinity, the father(God), the son(Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
