You Will Get Off Track

There is one thing I know for certain, and it is this: In this life, in the flesh, you will get off track.

A dear friend of mine posted a picture of a Salvation receipt on social media. Sometimes people may not know the affects they have on others through social media posts or just the little nuggets of wisdom they drop into someone’s lap after a conversation (I have good friends who do this all the time.). I’m here to say this receipt reminded me that Regret is paid in full. Period.

My friend may have thought this was a profound and meaningful picture to share with others as a believer, but I’m here to say the receipt touched my heart at a moment that God knew I needed it. I’m thankful for my good friend’s obedience to share.

This is why I’m cautious of what I post on social media because God can use anything. Though I am a believer and I have already accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, this post touched me in such a mighty way that I’m certain it could do the same for someone who is not a believer. Not all of us will be called to preach behind a pulpit, but our job to spread the gospel, the good news, is still necessary. Roman 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I started off this post with the following statement: In this life, in the flesh, you will get off track.

Romans 3:22-24There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

I’m thankful to know and want to remind others that our heavenly Father is faithful. His grace is sufficient. If you get off track, God is faithful to forgive. He will help you get back on track and make your crooked paths straight if you allow Him into your life. All He needs is a willing heart. ❤ Come to Jesus Christ today. Proverbs 3:6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Remember this…God loves you.

Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen.

If you’re not saved today, then I encourage you to visit my Salvation Prayer page. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has already paid our sin debt at the cross. He is the Lamb of God. Welcome Him into your heart today. You will not thirst again.

Love you all in Christ,

  1. I absolutely love this post! It is just as important to remind believers as it is to inform non-believers that Jesus paid it all! So even if you should fall off track, you can ask for his forgiveness; accept redemption; and walk in victory!

  2. Love this receipt 🧾! Priceless and very powerful: when you add up each cost and still owe nothing 💥. Simply amazing.
Sadly, many of us walk from a place of keeping score. Society tells us that the person with the most points (cost) wins. Absolutely not! As you keep score your heart hardens but as you forgive God pays the debt 💸. Paid-n-Full.

He is looking for deposits and penalizing withdrawals. Invest in God and your stock will double through eternity. Be Intentional!

    Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
