You Will Make It

Whatever you are facing today, just remember these words, You Will Make It. I went through a tough experience in life that I never thought I would have to face. It wasn’t a part of my plan, and it did not make it in my book of life accomplishments. However, life happened, and I went through a season that only God could bring me through. I had my close friends who were prayer warriors and would lift me in prayer and encourage me when the pain became too great to bear. I thank God for them. It was doing those times that God showed me that He would never leave me nor forsake me. When I did not know what to do and had to make tough decisions, Jesus was there with the answer and His peace. It was God who was there in the early a.m. when others were sleeping, and it was Him who gave me rest.

Jesus delivered me and He will do the same for you. You just have to trust Him and allow Him to do it. Get out of the way. Get of the way with your doubt and negative thinking and words. I know your situation may be hard to face and you do not see an ending or know how God can fix it. But He is ALMIGHTY GOD. The creator of the heavens and earth. (Genesis 1:1) The Great ‘I AM‘ who says in His Word and will NEVER lie (Numbers 23:19) — And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

I’m not just referencing scriptures to you but telling you what I know. I had people all around me going about their daily lives and had no idea my family had been under attack. God kept a smile on my face while he carried me through that season. My pain was real, and it looked like the enemy was not going to let up, but GOD. Jesus defeated Him at the cross and won the battle again in my storm. I won because I’m still standing. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned it around for my good and He receives my praise.

I am a living testimony that I am sharing with you today. YOU WILL MAKE IT. Now, things may not go in the order that you may want, but we have to remember that God’s ways are not our ways. (Isaiah 55:8) I recently spoke to my sister in Christ and explained to her that I felt I was in a standstill. Yes, God had brought me through that season, but I was ready for a newness. I had been looking at my career goals, other opportunities, and because nothing had changed in my little eyes, I figured I was at a standstill. It was then my friend reminded me that God may very well have been working in me so that He could prepare me for what was to come. It was from there I stopped growing weary in the waiting room (Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)) and refocused on God.

Jesus has been working in me. My friend was right. I witnessed the change this week! I had the opportunity to face the same people who were involved in that painful season, and I did not have any animosity towards anyone. I have God’s joy. I am not sad, nor feel any pain. I have forgiven and I am walking in God’s peace. This is the best feeling. Man cannot give you this nor can you buy it. It only comes from accepting our Heavenly Father’s Son, Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior. I am thankful to be a child of God. My prayer is that more people will come to know Christ and those who do will surrender their lives to Him. We cannot make it in this world alone, but with God we can do all things.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

I hope my testimony encourages someone hurting today to keep on moving forward with God. You will make it!

If you’re not saved today, then I encourage you to visit my Salvation Prayer page. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has already paid our sin debt at the cross. He is the Lamb of God. Welcome Him into your heart today. You will not thirst again.

Love you all in Christ,

  1. Amen 🙏🏾 and Amen.
God’s timing is not our timing. And when we don’t understand we sometimes loose our way. But I’m it all, God sends us a “lesson” that becomes our healing. And sometimes the pain becomes unbearable when His medicine is working. Why? Because it’s healing from the inside out, not just on the surface. But when the healing is complete – the lesson is learnt, the pain is gone, the issue is resolved and you are made whole and complete – a new creature indeed. Never focus on the hurt 😢. The hurt is the distraction to keep you feeling the pain. Find peace in knowing. God returns everything you loss X 10 (Fold). What’s for you is for you. God knows best. Sometimes a bone 🦴 has to be broken completely in order to be used to its highest ability. Trust the process, not the pain.

    1. So many nuggets of wisdom mentioned in this response. Thank you for sharing these encouraging words. “The hurt is the distraction to keep you feeling the pain.” Refocus ❤ Take the attention off the pain and place it back on God. Love it!
