Giving honor and praise to God for coming up on the one year anniversary of this blog site. If you have not read my About the Blogger page, then let me tell you this site was birthed specifically after praying to God about what He wanted me to do next with my gift of writing.
It was at that moment after receiving a clear answer that I made the decision to do His Will and start the site. Have I always done things this way – No. But it was after making my plans without consulting God first and then going to Him afterwards when things didn’t work out that I thought, Why don’t I just go to God in the beginning.
How many of you feel the same way? Relationship decisions, employer choices, relocations, educational choices, etc. (the list can go on and on) that you had to have in your timing that didn’t work out because you proceeded on a whim. This is even after ignoring all the warning signs that were clearer then a car shining its high beams on a wet road at midnight. But God. Even after we make decisions that may not have been in our best interest, God is so faithful to love us and work it all out for our good when we trust Him.
“And we know that all things work together for good
to those who love God, to those who are the called
according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
I truly believe in God’s Word in the Holy Bible and know that He has plans for all of us (Jeremiah 29:11). So why not just go to Him in the beginning? The enemy wants to derail God’s plans for our lives, so if he can entice us with a shortcut, short skirt, and shorts then He will. Whatever it takes to destroy our lives and kill us. But God! Thank you heavenly Father for your grace and mercy.
1 Cor 10:13
If you are tired of going in circles or tired of trying to figure it out all on your own, then take God’s way out and listen to Him. This may involve shedding some behaviors that are not pleasing to God so He can get you on the right path. However, He is faithful to help you through it and turn your life around.
I can honestly tell you the decisions I have made today with God is far better than any decision I could have ever made on my own. Now does this mean everything is going to be peachy cream after you get an answer? No. I was once told the enemy is not going to just sit back and not try to block your blessings. But the devil is fighting a losing battle because we always WIN in the end with Christ.
I thank God for your faithfulness this year and for all the responses that have come forth through this site. We all have a purpose in life. I pray that you will seek the One who knew you before you were even born (Jeremiah 1:5) for yours.
Have a blessed week!
