God loves all of His children. It’s so easy to get caught up on people walking this earth (i.e. love ones, friends, acquaintances, social media, etc.) and how they treat us. There were many times that I felt people didn’t see nor appreciate the goodness of my heart because it wouldn’t stop them from treating me less than how I know they would want to be treated. I don’t know if any of you can relate. But God!
Tuesday morning, as I was driving into work after praying with my son before school, this song came over the radio: I Love Him by Renee Spearman ft. Hezekiah Walker & Dr. Holly Carter. I broke down in tears because I felt God reminding me that He loves me. He loves all of His children. So much that the Holy Bible reminds us in the Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7), that He goes after the lost one. ONE. We all matter to God.
Today, focus on the love of Jesus Christ. Yes, it may hurt when people walk away or don’t see the value in you as a person, but remember Jesus Christ. He loves you. He went to the cross for people who still didn’t accept Him as the Messiah, God’s Son. He is the one who walks with us every day. Though we may not see Him with our physical eyes, His presence is felt in our spirit. God is with us.
Let’s walk in love today. I pray this post serves a reminder to someone who needs to be reminded that they matter and that God cares. You have a purpose in this world and God has a plan for your life.
